The story of our pizza began in the ’90s in B.C., Canada. Pizza has always been a great passion of our chef and owner, Unal Dogan. Having grown up in an Italian community in East Vancouver, he has always been in the heart of Italian cuisine, and pizza, in particular, is a deeply rooted family tradition for him.

By developing a very special dough and pizza sauce to combine with the classic family recipe, he has created his own pizza using fresh ingredients and special baking techniques. Because of his Mediterranean roots, he is an expert on spices and their balance for each of his special recipes.

After moving to the U.S., he decided to share his expertise with pizza lovers and opened Numero Uno Pizza on his way to starting a pizzeria where people can experience the most delicious pizza in town. Using daily made ingredients and keeping the menu as rich as possible, it offers a wide variety of pizzas and other specialties, including Lahmajoon, a healthy alternative and a very famous Turkish pizza with a thin layer of crispy dough topped with zesty ground beef, tomatoes, green peppers, red peppers, onions, and spices.

If you have not tried these delicious flavors yet, order online now or just stop by Numero Uno to put the ultimate feast in your belly. It smells just perfect here!
